Qatar, EU Discuss Gaza Crisis and Humanitarian Efforts

Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani held talks in Doha with European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas on Friday.

The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between Qatar and the European Union, alongside reviewing key regional and international issues. A central point of the meeting was the ongoing crisis in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories.

Sheikh Mohammed emphasized the urgent need for unified regional and international efforts to establish a ceasefire in Gaza. He highlighted the importance of protecting civilians, securing the release of prisoners and detainees, and ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to ease the severe humanitarian crisis facing the population.
