INDIANAPOLIS – Wildfire smoke is making headlines across North America, and Carrier is stepping up with a new initiative to help people breathe easier indoors.
Smoke doesn’t just stay outside—it can creep into homes and schools, posing serious health risks. Carrier recommends using HVAC systems with strong filters, sealing doors and windows, and running HEPA-equipped portable air purifiers.
“Protecting indoor air is critical during wildfire season,” said Nick Arch, Carrier’s VP and GM of Residential Solutions. “Our solutions are designed to keep families and communities safe.”
Carrier is also giving back, donating $2.5 million worth of air purifiers to Los Angeles schools and frontline workers.
