Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has announced a series of significant investments aimed at boosting infrastructure and development in the Brus municipality. During his visit to the Rasina District, Vučić revealed plans to invest approximately €6 million in the reconstruction of roads. The initiative is set to pave 15 kilometers of roads by the end of October, with the goal of providing improved access to nearly every village in the area.
In addition to the road improvements, Vučić outlined plans for the Vignjište water-supply project, which is expected to commence by the year’s end. This project entails an investment of €2 million and is part of a broader effort to enhance local infrastructure. Meanwhile, discussions are underway with a potential investor regarding the establishment of a new factory that could bring about 200 jobs to the region, further boosting the local economy.
During his visit, Vučić also stopped at an organic fruit-processing company, where he highlighted the government’s support for businesses seeking to acquire machinery. He stated that businesses could benefit from non-refundable funding of around €42,000 as well as Development Fund loans with fixed interest rates ranging from 2–2.5 percent. This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to supporting local enterprises and fostering economic growth.
The president’s visit also included an announcement about his upcoming attendance at the opening of a new robot factory in Šabac on August 29. This event is part of Serbia’s ongoing efforts to advance its industrial capabilities and integrate innovative technologies into its manufacturing sector.
